Our next Encuentro Coliazul is just around the corner — Friday, May 17th at 12pm, at Finca Diamante Luz, San Salvador de Barú — and we warmly invite you to be part of this celebration of stories, music, food, and the spirit of community.

This event, like everything we do at Coliazul, is community-powered. It comes to life through the contributions, creativity, and generosity of many hands and hearts. Together, we are weaving something beautiful — a living culture of care, connection, and regeneration.

At our last benefit event, the turnout was so heartwarming that we ran out of food before the event was over! It was a clear sign of the love and support in our community — and also a reminder that our amazing kitchen crew needs more support.

The food was delicious, and the team did an outstanding job. This time, we’re calling on our extended community to contribute homemade dishes to help us meet the hunger and enthusiasm of our guests. Whether it’s a family recipe, something inspired by your culture, or a nourishing favorite, your dish can support the Coliazul vision — one plate at a time.

📚 Celebrating Our New Library

Thanks to your ongoing support, we just inaugurated the Coliazul Library! It was a cozy, joyful gathering where children from our mentoring program shared artwork, community members read stories aloud, and the first books were borrowed with beaming smiles. Tea and homemade cake brought it all together. This is just the beginning of what this space will become — a sanctuary of knowledge, imagination, and shared learning.

🏗️ Progressing with the Cultural Center

Step by step, we are also moving forward with the construction of the Coliazul Cultural Center. It’s a long, careful process — we are laying the foundations, preparing for permits, and setting the stage for a space that will host learning, creativity, and cultural exchange for years to come.
